First, I'm a bit disappointed in myself today. I couldn't figure out what to do for a photo assignment so I put it off until the last minute and didn't get it done. It was due today. Last night I decided that I would get up early this morning to do it but I actually overslept and didn't even make it to class at 8. Then, I remembered that I forgot to turn in my take-home test and 2 assignments in my Beat Reporting class on Monday. Silly me! I mean, they're done, I was in a rush to get to Spanish for my test and I forgot! On top of everything else, I got my Spanish test results back today and my grade was worse than my last one. I have to study a lot harder for the next one.
On a positive note, I have a home-visit with Big Brothers Big Sisters today so I can start volunteering. I'm excited! I love kids and want to be more involved in the community. I'll let you know how it goes.
Last night, after class, I went to my friend's house. It was his son's third birthday and he had a little party for him. I never knew shopping for boys would be so hard. I finally got him a bunch of little cars and he loved them! One of the bigger cars made noise so he was excited about that. It was a fun night being around all of them and listening to the funny things kids say.
